This is the full hangout on air event post – I’ve introduced you all individually, and it would be super if you’d comment, +1, share (so your followers see the event and links), and invite your followers to watch (if they say “yes” or “maybe” it puts the event automatically in their calendar to remind them.)

Sample questions for the guest panel:
• How did you get started in photography?
• Did you learn film + darkroom photography, or digital?
• How important do you think social media and blogging is for photographers? What about videos?
• Which social networks do you think work best for photographers? How many social networks should they focus on, or should they be everywhere?
• How important is networking to photographers?
• How important is branding? Did you hire a web developer or graphic designer or do it yourself?
• Do you do your own photo editing/photoshop work?
• Do you outsource any of your work (admin, bookkeeping, photo editing/retouching, marketing)?
• How can photographers make passive income? Is that a viable business model?
• If you had one piece of advice to give new photographers starting out in their career, what would it be?
If you are new to using Google+ Hangouts (video calls) please download my Hangouts Quick Start Guide:
Please take 10 minute to set everything up. You will need to do this up before the show, but you only need to do it once and can continue to use video calls easily after the initial setup.

Show Details: date, time, links
- Please ensure you have a Google+ account set up the day before the show, and have installed the Hangout plugin (takes 2 minute if you’ve never done a Hangout before).
- You will receive an invitation to join the scheduled Hangout on Air via email and I will post it in a Facebook msg to all of the guests, to get familiar with the Hangout dashboard and set up your “lower third” banner, 15-30 min before the show goes live. (This lets guests into the “Greenroom” or pre-broadcast waiting area.)
- On the day of the recording, you will need to be in the Hangout pre-broadcast dashboard 15-30 minutes prior to the show.
- Be hardwired (not wifi) to minimize internet issues (poor video quality, dropping off the call).
- Access the call from a laptop or desktop computer. iPads, tablets and smartphones have limited functionality, and tend to have spotty internet connections, thus producing a poor quality call and possible dropouts (Hangouts are bandwidth hogs).
- Wear earbuds and if possible have a mic for better quality.
- Please be in a quite place, with no interruptions.
- The shows will be recorded live, then a replay will be available on YouTube and Google+. You can share that link later for any of your fans or followers who missed the event.
- Shows are strictly informational – no sales pitches
- Do not record the show (ie Camtasia, Screenflow) as this degrades the video quality. A recoding takes place automatically via YouTube.
Feel free to share the livestream broadcast with your friends or followers… here are a few options:
