Facebook has reached over 1 billion users this year, and the number of businesses using social media marketing is growing at an exponential rate.
The challenge with Facebook marketing is keeping abreast of the constant changes, and staying focused on strategies and goals, not just tactics.
Here are some of my favourite Facebook resources, from bloggers and social media thought leaders, to tools and guidelines.
As a Facebook expert, the best place to catch her advice is on her Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/marismith
Jon helps businesses make a difference with social media, specifically Facebook. He is a thought leader who often challenges the standard Facebook discontent and offers simple explanations and resources on his website http://www.jonloomer.com/
Amy is a Facebook expert who is extremely knowledgeable about building leads, driving traffic and increasing sales with Facebook. Amy often presents free webinars on how to effectively use Facebook ads, and how to grow your business using Facebook.
Victoria is often referred to as the “Facebook Ad Queen”, so her special area of expertise is, you guessed it, helping businesses create successful and profitable Facebook Ad campaigns.
Donna Hamer’s Facebook Fanpage Comeptitions
Donna is a Facebook contests expert and my go-to gal for up-to-date info on running a competition online. I’ve taken her online training program and have her contest apps so I can create Facebook contests and sweepstakes that are within Facebook’s terms of service. This is no small thing, as Facebook Pages big and small have been shut down for violating Facebook’s contest rules. You can find tips on running contests, and access to a free Facebook Contest video on her Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/fanpagecompetitions
Davina and Caroline’s Useful Graphic Design Tutorials
These British ladies offer a whole series of training videos (and a paid product with done-for-you templates) on how you can quickly and easily create Facebook graphics (timeline covers, apps thumbnails, compelling status update photos) using free photo-editing tools. Best place to catch them is on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UsefulGraphicDesignTutorials
Facebook Tools and Apps
It’s always easier to implement marketing strategies if you have tools and systems in place. There’s no need to re-invent the wheel, or to much about with code (unless you want to) when it comes to designing Facebook cover photos, landing pages, apps, or contests.
